Mama Spider

I saved two more spiderlings today (or maybe condemned them to a quicker death).

I offered them a square of toilet paper to cling to, and so they did; as they ran toward my hand, I shook them off outside the window.

Two days ago I removed Mama Spider without knowing she'd laid eggs.

Maybe she's outside, waiting for her spiderlings to come home so she can eat them and survive the winter.
